Da Troll Guide

I have a lot of troll OCs. Like. A LOT. It's a problem, both in the way of drawing proper portraits for them all, and in the way of keeping up with who's who! So, here will be drawings (mostly portraits - best I have at the moment, but not necessarily) and screenshots, and short-ish blurbs to sum them up.WILL contain mentions of dicks, cannibalism, alcohol, drugs, death, mental issues, consent issues, and, in case with one particular troll, self-harm. Also, not necessarily most sensitive language.
Also author's undisguised fetishes and love for less acceptable bits of canon/"it was in game and we got no better info so I count it as canon" things.
Also deep unlorefriendliness because I have an OC god (the Warrior-Smith) and a bunch of weird mutant humans (Clan Ashwind) and some of my trolls are involved with that.
(also my forest trolls are forever stuck in an undefined hell, tribe-wise. They're from Hinterlands, but what are they? *shrugs* Vilebranch but strangely mellow? Some small non-canon tribe? No idea. They aren't Revantusk, that I can tell)

Marhhaiji

Age: 67
Gender: male
Sexuality: Bi
Tribe: unknown. He's a forest troll, but as for specific affiliation - not Revantusk. That's best that can be said.
Occupation: Witch Doctor
Currently lives in: Zandalar, in a hut built somewhere close to the border between Zuldazar and Nazmir (resides with- but is no part of- cult of the Warrior-Smith which is based in non-canon partially excavated ruins about exact location of which I have never thought)
Pets: an unnamed magpie (female, but he uses strictly "it" when referring to it)
Connection to Loa: More of a general Loa-respecter than a particular Loa-follower. Gets along with Bwonsamdi the most. (if my in-game and out-of-game trolls weren't separate, Jarrok would have reasons to be jealous: what's an unachievable dream to him, was once accomplished by Marhhaiji with nothing but a smile and a purr of "how low be ya standards?")
Voice: No specific claim, but rather low and usually very rough and hoarse... But he can manage a very impressive seductive "purr" when he wants to.
Issues: Abnormally low appetite and interest in food; avoidance of relationships (or at least of admitting that that's what they are) due to fear of outliving his loved ones.
Quirks: Delights in being annoying, though knows to tone it down if it'd cause genuine harm to a non-enemy.
When possible, would try to sleep on top of another person.
Selective about hygiene: keeps his teeth, hands, hair and privates clean, but the rest is usually rinsed at best.
Steals food from other people, sometimes eats small animals alive - he doesn't much like eating, but he likes challenge.
Physical/physiological unusualities: Very thin, can be anywhere from "underweight but sort of okay" to "shrink-wrapped skeleton". Barely has any fur left due to his age, malnutrition, and poor genetics in that regard. Large lower canines. Abnormally long tongue. Near-unusably massive dick. Mildly poisonous blood and other fluids due to testing potions on himself when he was younger (safe on skin, safe but tingly/slightly numbing on mucous membranes. Just don't swallow a full mouthful of anything, it reacts with stomach acid).
Also he gets extra-horny a few times a year, again due to potion experimentation - his self-testing of false heat potions happened after he was permanently altered by the other stuff, but before he knew that was the case, so it worked in an unintended way.
Additional info: He smokes, uses shrooms both ritualistically and recreationally, occasionally drinks, and is RIDICULOUSLY easy.
Also, he does meet up with his parents sometimes. Their death doesn't stop him (the right to do so is part of the reason for his connection with Bwonsamdi)
His mentor, Takhaar, considered (stil considers. Who's ever stopped by death?) Marhhaiji to be both his great success, and his great failure. Because one goal (training a good Witch Doctor) was achieved greatly, while other (making weirdo young man into something more well-adjusted)... Yeah. That's not exactly it.

Jin'tkhai

Age: 27
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight? Barely bi-leaning? He'd kiss a man, but is otherwise only interested in women.
Tribe: again, unknown. Same as Marhhaiji, that's best that can be said.
Class/Occupation: Hunter/Hunter-priest of the Warrior-Smith.
Currently lives in: Zandalar, same non-canon half-excavated ruins I've already mentioned.
Pets: Big, stubborn bear named Aruuna. She's a sweetie to him and a few select people, but is otherwise rather mean.
Connection to Loa: Also more of a general respecter. And with his involvement with the Warrior-Smith, he'd rather keep polite distance now in case him following a human-originated deity is an issue. Makes offerings to a few, but it's more of "we still good? Yeah? Cool"
Voice: No specific claim, but nice, although not much special. On the lower end of average.
Issues: Does dislike for elves count as an issue when we're talking about a forest troll? Also, bad at saving money, WILL blow it on novelty color-changing rings and such. And flightmaster services, he loves flying but can't have a flying mount, partially because he can't save for one, but there are other reasons as well.
Quirks: Likes to sleep outside, though has to be careful about it because his hair and fur are and absolute dirt-and-debris magnet. Loves physical contact - from cuddling to playfighting, just give him that.
Physical/physiological unusualities: Large lower canines, almost ridiculously small tusks. Also has glowing eyes and heightened body temperature due to the Warrior-Smith's blessings.
Additional info: Smokes, drinks.
Prefers to stay at his 'winter weight', just enjoys being a bit soft at all times. Don't be fooled, under fur and fat there's muscles of steel.
Used to be in a relationship with Meira, but they ended up parting their ways as it was largely sexual and Jin'tkhai's lack of interest in men presented some issues (he tried!). Currently single.

Meira

Age: 39
Gender: (look. Meira shapeshifts and is equally comfortable in both forms. Genderfluid? In any case "she" is fine regardless of form. If you're speaking about her in her presence swapping according to current form is preferable, but it's no big deal)
Sexuality: One case when "half-straight, half-gay" may be an appropriate description: goes for men as a woman, goes for men as a man.
Tribe: Same as Marhhaiji and Jin'tkhai
Occupation: Witch Doctor with heavy emphasis on alchemy. Formerly Marhhaiji's apprentice.
Currently lives in: a hut somewhere in Hinterlands. The hut used to belong to Marhhaiji.
Pets: Kaiorr the dragonhawk. She rarely refers to him by the name, just in case. He's not only a pet, but a friend and a service animal, and she had him since she was a little girl.
Connection to Loa: Meira is a follower of Jan'alai, but respects others as well.
Voice: closest claims are vocalist from music band Калевала for female form/Sprout Cloverleaf for male form. And yes, she can sing.
Issues: Her overprotective, over-coddling parents ruined gentleness to her, so there's that. Treating her with care is a quick way to annoy her.
Quirks: Prefers touching over being touched. Sometimes shapeshifts while sleeping. Thinks that "Shut up, woman!" and similar phrases, when directed at her, are peak humor.
Physical/Physiological unusualities: Big enough to poke out of her mouth tusks in female form, tusk hyperdontia in both forms. Blind in female form/near-sighted in male.
Additional info: While she has no qualms about eating sapient species as a concept, she only consumes troll flesh for ritualistic purposes, finds elves to be wrong-tasting in an undescribable way, and generally prefers animal meats.
Doesn't smoke, but likes the smell of tobacco. Her relationship with Marhhaiji was best summed up as "master-apprentice with benefits", and it was mostly Meira who initiated the unprofessional encounters. When in a serious relationship, is uncomfortable with seeking pleasure elsewhere even if her partner is fine with that. That's why no compromise was possible with Jin'tkhai.Meira has a great sense of smell. One of favorite non-magic activities is foraging for mushrooms, and while she still needs other means to determine safety of all but some most familiar ones, searching is largely by scent.

Nareeta

Age: 36
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Straight
Tribe: Zandalari
Occupation: Greater Dancer-Priest of the Warrior-Smith
Currently lives in: Zandalar, same half-excavated ruins I've mentioned before
Pets: none of her own. Co-owns her husbands horse, I suppose
Connection to Loa: She feels a bit more connected to Torcali, but was never particularly devoted. She just isn't a particularly religious type - even as a priestess she's rather casual about it.
Voice: Deep and clear. Very nice, very coherent speech.
Issues: Spent most of her life thinking that mental illnesses come in just a few flavors: "harmlessly quirky fool", "senile", "paranoid" and "aggressive maniac". That resulted in her not realizing that her ex does, in fact, have issues rather than just is an asshole making excuses, and parting ways with him in a violent manner that, at the moment, felt justified. She's not proud of that now that she knows better, not proud at all, but she's not sure how to fix it. How to fix him.
Quirks: often walks around topless. Absolutely loves fireworks. Slow to anger, explosive when it happens, takes a while to cool down. Loves a badly-written book, the worse the better, would be happy to read worst/funniest moments to anyone who wishes to listen.
Physical/Physiological unusualities: nothing innate, other than being a bit taller than average, but heightened body temperature, glowing blood/yellowed eye glow, and increased bone density due to the Warrior-Smith's blessings.
Additional info: Kicks like a tauren.
Decent bone-carver, first tried it with her exes tusk (made a pipe out of it), ended up taking it up as a hobby.
Has a daughter from her ex (The daughter's name is Arani, she's 5, changes who she wants to be when she grows up every few days (last known idea: Shadow Hunter, because Marhhaiji told her about them)).
Is married to a human (Arren Ashwind, High priest of the Warrior-Smith), initially as a pretense to make her ex realize she's really not coming back, but it got serious later (though their mutual agreement to seek pleasure elsewhere still largely stands).

Nameless One

WARNING: this is the one that self-harms. It's not graphic, but it's there
Age: 36
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bi
Tribe: Zandalari
Occupation: sometimes does odd jobs for people. Low-paid preferred.
Currently lives in: Zandalar, Village in the Vines/Tor'nowa.
Pets: None
Connection to Loa: None presently, but if he ever decides to get his name back, he might have to turn to Gral. Little hope of finding it otherwise.
Voice: Soft, quiet, usually eerily emotionless. He talks little, except when particularly distressed, which is when he gets awfully, frantically chatty - anything to fill the silence.
Issues: Extremely possessive. Was always distressed by it, but thought he was hiding it fine. After Nareeta made it abundantly clear that he neither hides it well enough, nor is pleasant to be around because of it, he broke down.
So now he has an extreme case of self-denial, feeling undeserving of anything nice, even sun's warmth.
He "balances things out" by hurting himself - mildly for general stuff, more seriously (by biting his right hand) in the rare times he pleasures himself.
Aside from taking jobs, he distances himself from people even though he is NOT a troll that does well in solitude.
Often suffers from nightmares, and his way of dealing with them (aimless wandering for as long as he can) has about 50/50 chance of either tiring him out enough or making things MUCH worse by escalating the matters to insomnia and hallucinations.
Quirks: Too dedicated to hygiene to abandon it regardless of his mental state and desire to keep people away.
Pulls on the string of beads between his earrings when nervous or deep in thought.
Still takes good care of his remaining tusk.
His nightmares are usually domestic bliss with no twist - it's the ever-present fear of messing it up that makes them, well, nightmarish.
Physical/Physiological unusualities: Significantly taller than average. Missing tusk, courtesy of his ex. Ridged/spiked osteoderms.
Ambidextrous, but nearly formerly so due to damage he done to his right hand - the thumb barely bends anymore.
Slow to regenerate due to stress. Already graying.
Additional info: Inscribed his name on a stone and threw it in the sea. It no longer exists anywhere else.
Feels no guilt for fun had for the sake of others, for example for spending time with his daughter. It's his best hope for climbing out of his current state.
Has fishbone-like silver tattoo on his back, with some of its "ribs" reaching his sides, one can be seen on the portrait.
His distancing efforts fly out of the window when his way of dealing with nightmares backfires - he'll cling to the nearest person he finds and rant their ears off about anything that comes to his mind, which, in such a state, is usually his hallucinations. He'll feel very guilty later, but in the moment he needs whatever attention he can get too much to stop himself.

Tah'rohk

Age: 32
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Gay
Tribe: Zandalari
Class/Occupation: Druid/"Just living". While he's not above doing some tasks for reward, he is rather self-sufficient and so needs no job to survive on his preferred level of comfort.
Currently lives in: Wherever. He wanders and has no permanent residence. While beaches and swamps of Zandalar are your best bet, anywhere warm and reachable by land, sea or river has a chance to be a place where you'd find him.
Pets: none
Connection to Loa: Gonk, as he is a druid, and Gral because it is good to be in his good graces when spending so much time in the sea. Legba, for unclear reasons. Just personal liking possible - it doesn't seem like Tah'rohk is unusually fast for his size so it's probably not for benefits of any sort.
Voice: Low and rumbling. Kinda growly. Rather pleasant, if you get past the intimidation.
Issues: Not very social, which doesn't mesh well with his bulky, spiky physique. Other than that - none that he suffers from, if someone doesn't like his gator-like ways it isn't really his problem.
Quirks: Heavily leans into beast-like behaviors. Enjoys intimidating people for fun, though not ones he'd like to stick around. Those he much prefers feeling calm and confident in his presence. Enjoys rolling in nice-smelling grasses but makes sure to restore the spot to a relatively fine state afterwards. Uses alternative beast forms: crocolisk for cat, stegodon for bear and skyscreamer for flight.
Physical/Physiological unusualities: Dire troll. Significantly scalier than average, with many scales being spiked.
Somewhat elongated jaws, very long tongue.
Hyperdontia, tusk and usual (doubled lower canines).
Flexibility issues: can't reach his upper back, which results in being unable to properly wash it on his own, bends well forwards/to sides, but when it comes to backwards - standing up straight is about as far as he can comfortably go, slouching is a necessity.
Uneven coloration: skin is significantly darker on the back and lighter on throat and belly.
Skin on throat and belly is also softer and more loose than on the rest of his body.
Additional info: Looks older than his age. Was married once, but it didn't last long. Tah'rohk still wears the nose ring because it looks cool (and serves as proof that he has some idea what he's doing, which helps when he's in the mood to try and find some company. Puts their minds at ease, as much as that's possible when dealing with someone like him). Mostly steers clear of other dire trolls - too fight-happy for his tastes, Tah doesn't do fighting. He does chilling or killing. Joy of hunt is familiar to him, but joy of fighting? What's that?
Doesn't typically deliberately go for sapient prey, but he bites and he's not gonna waste good meat by spitting out whatever he bit off. Absolutely does hunt makrura on purpose, though.

Aktai

Age: 34
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Gay
Tribe: Zandalari
Class/Occupation: Warrior (fury)/mildly successful adventurer. As in, didn't get himself killed or seriously hurt so far.
Currently lives in: He has a small house somewhere in Zuldazar, that's the best I can tell. It used to belong to his parents.
Pets: Does the hand-sized spider in the corner of his bedroom count? He feeds it sometimes.
Connection to Loa: He's not one for worship, but he respects Loa in general, and Shadra a bit more.
Voice: It's pretty nice, but light in a way that makes it necessary to concentrate on what he says as it has a way of feeling almost imagined. Often has a smile in his voice, it's practically his default.
Issues: Aktai expects a lot from people and that includes expecting them to somehow know how they "should" behave around him. His expectations are somewhat based on the role a person fills in his life, so even if you match in one kind of relationship, a change of status will mean a change in what he expects from you - and he won't bother notifying you, he'll just expect you to know. The man is set up for mutual disappointment, and so far failed to learn anything.
Honestly, he just generally needs the world to be in neat little boxes. That spider I mentioned? It lives in THAT corner. It's the spider corner.
"Adventure" is the "box" that can fit the most, so he's pretty normal about all kinds of things that happen during that.
Also, he would absolutely provoke someone for the fun of it first, think of consequences... Maybe.
Quirks: He genuinely enjoys cleaning. Tidying up his home? That's a day well spent! Washing clothes? Great!
That extends to bathing - if he's doing it with someone, he'd happily wash their hair or scrub their back. It's not a respect or intimacy thing to him, he just likes making things neat.
Physical/Physiological unusualities: A bit taller and notably leaner than average. Has freckles. Facial osteoderms are tiny and go across nose bridge in a freckle-like pattern. Very prominent lower canines. Also, bringing up dicks again, he has a knot. That's pretty rare.
Additional info: Tah'rohk's ex. Reason for break-up was that Aktai's expectation for husband involved a lot more typically romantic behavior than his expectation for boyfriend. Since Tah'tohk likely wouldn't change his ways much even if Aktai bothered actually voicing his new demands, he just left.

Tekai

Age: Unknown, somewhere between 20 and 25
Gender: male
Sexuality: bi, but mainly goes for men despite liking both equally
Tribe: Amaki (defected)
Occupation: Currently the Warrior-Smith's second Dancer-Priest (in training), formerly a War Slave.
Currently lives in: Same half-excavated ruins as the rest of the cult
Pets: None, he wants one but hasn't decided.
Connection to Loa: None willingly, but Gh'uun's influence still lingers in his blood.
Voice: Uneven. Sometimes raspy, sometimes smooth. The pitch varies as well, though not drastically. Doesn't speak a lot so it might be due to lack of practice.
Issues: *pats his head* this bad boy can fit so much trauma! He looks to women for guidance but also strongly fears displeasing them. May be unable to say "no" to one regardless of whether or not he's comfortable with whatever she asks of him. He likes them but prefers to avoid them because of that. Takes a lot for him to be actually comfortable around a woman and see her as someone vaguely resembling an equal that he can be himself with.
Had more than his share of violence, he can fight but he doesn't want to. Even a playfight may sometimes be beyond what he's comfortable with.
Can't handle anything inanimate around his wrists and ankles, so bracelets, bracers, and any kind of clothes with long sleeves or pant legs are out of question. Obviously, restraints of any sort are also a very bad idea. He'll panic, and nobody wants that.
Quirks: Despite his dislike for violence, Tekai likes to scare people.
Walks as confidently on all fours as he does on two legs, and often uses that skill. Also can hand-walk very well.
Fascinated by fur/body hair (has none of his own).
Likes to climb trees and mostly does it well. Does fall sometimes, though.
In his opinion, clothes are optional, tusk-wraps are not.
Physical/Physiological unusualities: Ripped up ears, broken tusks and lower incisors, quite remarkable pecs for an otherwise rather lean troll. Misses tip of back-toe and most of the claw on one of the fore-toes on his left foot. Wrists and ankles covered in scars from ill-fitting shackles, back is heavily scarred as well. Regeneration doesn't work so well, although it's somewhat better now thanks to the Warrior-Smith's blessing.
Abnormally flexible, can practically tie himself into a knot and feel perfectly comfortable.
If injured, the blood spilled appears to move slightly on its own.
Additional info: He used to have an older brother. All he has left of him now is memories and an armband made of his tusk. Also, he managed to warm up to Nareeta, he's nearly as confident around her as he is around men.
While normally averse to violence, when panicking he is highly likely to get aggressive. Excuse my sense of humor, but he panics and he attacks.

'Python'
real name yet unknown

Age: 29
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bi
Tribe: Zandalari
Class/Occupation: Hunter for both (creative mind and loyal raptor allow him to keep at it even still)
Currently lives in: Somewhere in Zuldazar, nothing more yet known.
Pets: Big green raptor named Taisa. She is his hunting pet, loyal friend, and main means of semi-dignified locomotion.
Connection to Loa: He's on good terms with Gonk. He also makes sure to often make offerings for Rezan.
Voice: Moderately low, warm. Can't pronounce "R".
"A bit ihonic dat I am a Zandalahi t'holl, huh? Life suhe has a sense of humoh!"
Issues: Afraid of devilsaurs after losing his leg to one. Curiously, the fear only applies to mortal ones. Rezan isn't any scarier than other Loa to him. Also has a slight fear of ever getting to speak to Rastakhan, as mispronouncing his name, for some reason, feels worse to him than mispronouncing the name of anyone else including any of the Loa.
Quirks: Can be almost unsettlingly cheerful. He's not hiding anything, he's just like that.
Puts a lot of effort into his appearance for a guy who spends a lot of time out in the wild - earrings, colorful tusk-wraps, painted osteoderms - the whole shebang.
Happy to explain his nickname, but won't necessarily say the truth. Offered explanation depends on situation and mood.
Physical/Physiological unusualities: Already going gray despite his age. Misses most of the right leg, got about half-thigh stump left. Good regeneration: didn't save his leg (blood loss and infection got in the way), but taking out his earrings for the night is sure to result in closed holes. Yes, one of the explanations he can give for his nickname IS size. It's kinda scary.
Additional info: Very strong arms, very strong grip. Climbs like you wouldn't believe. Used to be married, his wife left him shortly before the fateful hunting trip that cost him his leg.
He's pretty casual about his disability. Can make some jokes, can handle some jokes. No need to walk on eggshells around him. He'd be more put off by being seen as anything special because of it: he's just living, what's the alternative, curling up in the corner and crying? Might as well praise him for breathing.
Really doesn't like being reminded of the time he visited Un'goro Crater, though. Talking about his injury by itself is one thing, but bringing up how it happened just hits different.

Sarrakath

Age: 53
Gender: Male
Sexuality: ??? He's attracted to power. Other's over him, his over others. Vessel matters little (has to be troll, if mortal. No other race is worthy in his opinion), target doesn't matter at all. Physical attractiveness isn't lost on him, but gender doesn't factor in that.
Tribe: Farraki by birth, joined Darkspear later. Not much loyalty, if he loses respect for them he'll leave rather than try and fix anything.
Class/Occupation: Shaman, adventurer/wandering herbalist/alchemist.
Currently lives in: No residence, wanders the world. Undercity and Gadgetzan are most likely civilized places to find him in.
Pets: Plaguewing the blighthawk, unnamed fossilized raptor.
Connection to Loa: doesn't appear to be keeping much in touch with any, though that can be easily changed if a powerful priest - or one of the Loa themselves - approached him. Elements are more his thing.
Voice: Similar to the in-game, but a bit more rough.
Issues: Can I just point to all of him?
His view of the world is incredibly power-centered.
He also considers trolls to be above all other mortals: other races are worthless to him by default and it takes a lot for him to see a non-troll as his equal. And for one to become his superior? Impossible. Official ranks matter none, he may obey for a bit but he'll feel no respect.
He sees displays of affection as something for the weak, which results in him growing increasingly touch-starved over the years, yet doing nothing about it. Essentially only way for that man to willingly accept a hug is if some troll in power pulled him into an embrace, but with his shining personality chances are low.
He takes petty delight in angering or intimidating people - that, too, is power - making them feel what he wants them to.
Quirks: Strongly dislikes fish. He'd catch it and use it for alchemy, but when it comes to food, the list of things he'd eat before settling for fish is vast and includes cockroaches.
Feels the need to wear plenty of jewelry to show off his wealth. That, too, is power.
Doesn't like water. He bathes of course, but he's as quick about it as he can be while still being thorough.
Respects enough Forsaken to be mildly fond of them as a whole. Sticks around them a lot, which results in the smell of decay clinging to him pretty much at all times.
Still practices cannibalism, just keeps it out of sight of his "fellow" Darkspears.
Physical/Physiological unusualities: Alchemically-induced blindness (courtesy of his wife. Which, in turn, is courtesy of his life choices. Wife choices)
Very impressive claws.
Heals quickly, but usually with scars.
Has a number on growths, three of them visible on the art included, but he got more. He's prone to forming them and removal often just leads to more appearing so they're best left alone.
When it comes to dick, he got a reasonably decent size, some spines on the underside AND a knot. Has a single piercing: a barbel in the upper edge of the sheath, pinching it together slightly (yes, it hurts when the knot pushes past it. Yes, he likes it)
Additional info: Technically is still married. As in, there was no divorce, he just ran. Only married because he saw a young, attractive woman as a status symbol and didn't care to learn more about her. Big mistake. She loved him. She still loves him. She sees no difference between loving and owning, and nothing wrong with altering the one she loves/owns if he's not behaving the way she expects. Why is he upset? Did she do something wrong? She just wanted him to stop looking at others, to have him all to herself...
Strangely enough, Sarrakath has some resemblance of standards. He regards poisoning, especially non-lethal, as weakling methods.
Also, while he may try to bribe or intimidate, it's just one of the closest things to flirting that fits into his views. He would take 'no' for answer... But if his target simply doesn't dare to say it, he won't consider it his fault.
(his other way is trying to provoke aggression and then turn the fight in a different direction, but that's for those he views as his superiors. And usually only the first part works)

Jarrok and Jakrai

Age: 26
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bi (Jakrai), unclear but functionally gay due to only ever being attracted to one person, which is male (Jarrok)
Tribe: Darkspear, but they're actually dark trolls. Just raised Darkspear.
Class/Occupation: Priest (Jarrok)/Mage(Jakrai). Both are adventurers.
Currently lives in: They have a hut on Echo Isles, but rarely can actually be found there.
Pets: Jakrai has a parrot. Jarrok keeps around a few Lost of Lordaeron which sort of count?
Connection to Loa: Jarrok is absolutely devoted to Bwonsamdi. Jakrai isn't particularly religious, but does occasionally give offerings to Zanza (for a bit more luck with magic) and Bwonsamdi ("Sorry fo' my brodah bein' like dat. T'ank ya fo toleratin' him")
Voice: A bit higher than in-game naturally, but Jarrok purposefully lowers his to sound more impressive.
Issues: Jarrok is obsessively - and one-sidedly - in love with Bwonsamdi, living for a slightest hint of approval or affection from the Loa. Jakrai... *Sighs exasperatedly and gestures to Jarrok*
Quirks: Jakrai has a lot of patience for others' antics and oddities and is well-versed in getting along with just about anyone. Loves bright colors. Isn't a herbalist, but does like learning about plants. Actually, likes learning/listening about many things, please DO talk his long, purple ear off about any non-Bwonsamdi related matters!
Jarrok is half-naked at all times. Doesn't consider himself single. Quick to resort to killing (fortunately, his twin is often there to stop him. Often... But not always). Has complicated feelings about Vol'jin - a mix of respect, admiration and envy. But mostly respect.
Physical/Physiological unusualities: Does them being twins count? Also, they see very well in the dark. While it's normal for dark trolls, due to them being very rare now it counts as unusual.
Additional info: They're both pretty fine with elves, even friends with one.
While Jarrok is entirely unavailable, Jakrai's happy to be the handsome exotically purple troll for anyone who wants one... Even if they'd rather have his brother and only settle for him due to that not being an option. He can wear skull paint if they want.
Jakrai's bullshit tolerance is so high, that he manages to interact safely and in a somewhat friendly manner with both Sarrakath AND Sarrakath's semi-ex-wife Akraia.

Rakhati

Age: 25
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bi
Tribe: Darkspear
Class/Occupation: Hunter/adventurer
Currently lives in: Wherever (no permanent residence, he sets up camps or spends nights wherever he's allowed to)
Pets: Sarkoth the scorpid, Bloodwing the bat, Shadow the raptor (tamed by him), Atra the obsidian vorquin (a gift from certain Dracthyr (which is also my character).
Connection to Loa: Gonk and Jani, but he's shy about Jani. As far as most people know, just Gonk.
Voice: He tries to put on a bit of lower growling tone to seem scarier, but his natural isn't too low in pitch and is very warm and pleasant.
Issues: Is locked in perpetual conflict between wanting to be seen as big, bad, scary, bloodthirsty troll and not being anywhere near mean enough for that. He's too sweet, too normal, and too put off by many things to efficiently project such persona, let alone actually BE that.
Quirks: Isn't great at staying still and silent unless putting actual effort into it. He's not gonna break out into dance out of nowhere, but he'd nod to some inner beat, tap his foot on the ground, drum his fingers against a tusk... Yet when moving he is often quieter than intended. His accidental sneaking had scared more people than any of his purposeful Big Evil Troll act.
Physical/Physiological unusualities: Naturally? Nothing but freckles. He is very average.
In terms of body modification? Got a big gold ring right through the head of his big, blue...
Additional info: Loves to fish. Is a good cook and loves doing so and sharing what he made. Is a good storyteller.
Used to have a hut of his own, but gave it to another person, as he rarely ever was home anyway and they needed it more.
Rakhati appreciates the general aesthetics of Forsaken, but feels uneasy on their territories and in the presence of more... Vibrant members of the faction.
Almost prefers Zeppelin rides to mounted travel because of the view.
Has a crush on Master Gadrin, but isn't hopeful enough to "stay loyal". If interest ever ends up reciprocated he'd be faithful, but for now he's not gonna deny himself.

Akkir

Age: 19
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Gay
Tribe: Zandalari (half-Farraki on mother's side, but only spent his first year of life with her)
Class/Occupation: Hunter/Hunter-Priest of the Warrior-Smith
Currently lives in: Zandalar, location varies: if he's at home at all, the 'home' in question is half the time the same ruins where rest of the cult dwells and half - his father's house. So only thing sure is "Zandalar, somewhere in Zuldazar".
Pets: A sabertusk named Yaroka. May sometimes seem like he has one or two more, but he doesn't. The other two aren't his pets or really sabertusks.
Connection to Loa: He's rather dedicated to Gonk. It's kinda his family's thing... The good part of family's.
Voice: A bit high, kinda scratchy. Might change yet. He sometimes briefly loses his voice when nervous.
Issues: Anxious, nearly always listening for signs of danger. Shy around unfamiliar/not too familiar people. Sometimes familiar enough people, too.
Afraid of Farraki trolls. Mostly women, but really, any sand troll is a very scary sand troll. His mother can be thanked for that. He's not lashing out at them in the rare times he can't avoid meeting any, and he understands that most of them have nothing to do with his less than happy early childhood, but it's likely he'll never feel fully at ease around them.
Quirks: Very careful about not touching anyone with his tusks or having them touched. Talks to sabertusks (his, not his, not-sabertusks... Being raised by a man who's in cat form half the time would do that to you). Usually slouches - not as much as non-Zandalari trolls tend to do, but noticeably.
Physical/Physiological unusualities: Massive ears. Tiny canines. Has a bit of fur forming a short, bristly mane along his spine. Large, hooked claws, though he keeps ones on his hands trimmed. Very short for a male troll, just around 220 cm (7,3 ft).
Additional info: It was his half-sister, Taajari, that dragged him into the cult. His favorite blessing is Blessing of Embers, as it allows for more understanding between its carriers - not enough to ignore language barrier entirely if it's there, but enough to understand general idea of what the person - or even animal - means. It eases his mind somewhat.
Within cult mainly sticks either with his sister or with his fellow Hunter-Priests, Rahhau and Jin'tkhai. Mostly Rahhau, him being a dinosaur makes Akkir able to feel at ease near him even when he can't handle people.
Is always comfortable around Anksurra and Taajari. Has to get used again to Jin'taara (Taajari's mother) whenever she comes to visit, but that happens quickly - she's never been anything but good to him, a better mother than the woman who birthed him could ever be.
Akkir had been tasked with accompanying Nameless One and Arani a few times, usually with his sister there as well, and found the broken troll quite easy to be around. Sad, yes, but not intimidating whatsoever. Despite its social nature, it's an assignment he has little issue with, and only any at all because it's a trip to the city, so there's other people too.

Gha'ar

Age: Early twenties, exact age unknown.
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Unknown (he just didn't figure it out. Not exactly a lot of opportunities)
Tribe: Zandalari
Occupation: Unemployed. He fishes and sometimes does odd jobs.
Currently lives in: Zandalar, Zuldazar, in an impressively sized, though still small for his size, hut. Exact location uncertain, but beach's not far.
Pets: Keeps around a bunch of saurids and shares food with them when he has enough to spare.
Connection to Loa: Gha'ar reluctantly considers himself not too unworthy for Jani.
Voice: Low, rumbly. Often scratchy from sleep. Typically speaks quietly... For his size, anyway.
Issues: Desperate to be of use, to the point where he'd likely be happy to sacrifice himself if an opportunity presented itself. Low self-esteem, considers himself "a waste of direness".
Quirks: Puts a lot of effort into his appearance to be at least useful by being pleasant to look at.
Physical/Physiological unusualities: Dire troll. Osteoderms prone to overgrowing. Has a mane along his spine. Is unable to stay awake for extended periods of time, typically gets around four waking hours per day, usually in bursts rather than a single stretch. Sometimes sleeps for a few days in a row.
Additional info: Can read. Well. Was taught to. Actual ability impacted by being likely to fall asleep before getting through even one page.
Got his ornamental scars and tusk carvings by offering himself as a practice canvas. Exact scarification patterns may change as old scars fade and new ones are carved in their place.
Larger pieces of his jewelry are gold-plated at best, "yellow. Close enough" at worst.
Concentrating on a manual task allows him to stay awake longer, so he carves from driftwood (fake skulls mostly). Also, overpolishes his jewelry, which results in exposing its true, non-gold, nature.
Loves sunsets, but rarely gets to watch them as his waking hours tend to be in the earlier hours of day.
His sense of unworthiness doesn't stop him from enjoying life in general, just from "wasting people's time". Good weather, good food, and listening to stories and music that just happen to be within his hearing range are all fair game.

Akraia

Age: 38
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Straight
Tribe: Farraki (due to working for the Horde at the moment is around Darkspear a lot, but is no part of it)
Class/Occupation: Warlock/accidentally adventurer (she's just looking for her husband... But things keep happening and she doesn't mind helping out)
Currently lives in: No permanent residence, wanders. May still technically have a home somewhere in Tanaris, but hasn't been there in a while.
Pets: ...Do demons count? SHOULD demons count?
Connection to Loa: She doesn't seem to openly worship any... But some of her alchemy is suspiciously blood magic-y.
Voice: A bit raspy, but pleasant. Not too different from in-game.
Issues: Has significant difficulty distinguishing between love and ownership, as well as seeing object of her love for who he is rather than some idealized image. Considers it acceptable to try and alter the person she loves/owns if they behave in ways that don't fit within her view of how they should.
Quirks: Does the juxtaposition of her general attitude and her approach to love count? Because that's some wild contrast. Also likes toads a lot.
Physical/Physiological unusualities: Other than very small lower canines, nothing.
Additional info: Sarrakath's wife. According to herself, NOT ex-wife, though she starts to have some doubts about feasibility of reuniting with him. He seems very upset.
Good at alchemy. Scarily good.
Bad at cooking. She's learning now (Rakhati is helping), but back when she lived with Sar, he was the one doing the cooking.
